Dr. Henze grew up in Hoover, AL where he dreamed of being a veterinarian from a young age. He went on to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) where he majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. While at UAB, he also competed at the collegiate level in soccer. Afterwards, he graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Henze has a interest in internal medicine and surgery, but will always take a new puppy exam without hesitation. In his free time he loves to be in the outdoors, travel, and cheer on his beloved Blazers and Tigers. His dream is to eventually visit all seven continents.
